Happy Thursday Reader! Earlier this week I mentioned that I'm sharing part of my new keynote on July 1. I've been working on it for almost a year now, and before I unleash it on the world, I'd like to practice with an audience of people who know me. That's where YOU come in. I've never shared this part of the talk publicly before, and I've only written about it publicly a few times in the past couple of months. This is an opportunity for me to share this part of my talk with a live audience and get real-time feedback from you, if you're game. Here's the link to register: Again, this isn't the whole talk. It's just a slice of it - so it'll probably run about 15-20 minutes - kind of like a lunch and learn. I want to practice with an audience to see facial reactions and gauge how the talk is landing. Think of it like a broadway preview. I'm also offering a VIP Q&A session afterwards if you're interested. Because of the confidential nature of the session, the recording will only be available to the VIP attendees. If you want a spot, get registered. Easy Peasy! - Lisa |

To be fair, Walmart has said this isn’t about surge pricing. But companies have a long history of saying one thing and doing another, so the mistrust isn’t coming out of nowhere. Once customers start asking, “Can I trust how this price got here?” you’re no longer just making an operations...
Hello there Reader! Next week, I'm hosting a live sneak peek at what I'm calling the 4 Horsemen of Business Collapse. Think of it like one part lunch & learn, one part dress rehearsal. I'll be sharing more about the 4 tactics that every organization in the world uses to solve problems, make decisions, or navigate change: The Expansion Reflex Outsourced Certainty Quiet Compliance Command Leadership I'm not joking when I say EVERY organization. Including yours. I'll share a real case study from...
"There's no easy 'yes' here. They all have risk."That's what my brand strategist said to me as we were debating the different proposals submitted for my speaker reel project. There was no perfect offer. Each one had upsides and downsides. At one point, I kind of wanted to flip the tables and walk away."I'll just do it my own damn self," I thought to myself. It would be faster. It would probably cost a lot less. I'd have complete control of the project, and it would be "good enough." But then,...
