What I'm up to in Chicago...

Well, hello there Reader!

Last week, I told you I was heading to Chicago to do some work repositioning my brand. I'm not ready yet to go into the specifics of what the repositioning looks like, but more is coming soon. If you're in the Rising Tide community you're ahead of the curve, and if you've been a backer for the reality show, you'll be seeing a BUNCH of behind-the-scenes footage from my trip in the coming weeks!

Today, though, before I hop on a plane for the Windy City I wanted to give you some back story on what led me to this moment of brand reinvention.

That's what my latest post is about.

I'm peeling back the curtain to show you:

  • the bigger picture of the whole trademark issue that became the rocket fuel for this new direction.
  • the "magic paintbrush exercise" I use with my clients that I'm using on MYSELF this time!
  • the negotiations that had to happen before RKA and I could work together (if you're thinking of hiring your biz besties, this is important!)

Yes, this is part of a behind-the-scenes series I'm launching on the blog. Check it out and tell me your thoughts!

Until next time,

- Lisa

P.S. Reminder: I’m speaking at The Online Income Playbook Summit, hosted by Amanda Boggs. I’ll be sharing how to design an offer that actually fits your energy and expertise (instead of chasing trends that don’t align). My talk is on the first day, so register now so that you don't miss it!

Happy SundayReader... I am slowly getting used to Jim working the weekends. When he accepted his new position, it meant working Saturday and Sunday.I try to have a schedule that mostly matches his, so now, my "weekend" is Monday and Tuesday. I still have a few trailing commitments on my calendar, but for the most part, our weekends are the same again. And since most of the rest of the world is OFF on Saturday and Sunday, it means I can really hunker down and FOCUS on those days... after I take...

Happy Thursday Reader... Firstly, I'm SUPER excited to announce that, my sister just launched her first-ever online business! I'd say it was her first business, but my sister and I had our first money-making side hustles when we were kids. To be clear, I have nothing to do with her site. I'm not her coach. She is totally doing this on her own and I was honored that she consented to letting me share it with you. She's a pretty private person (she doesn't do ANY social media!), so I'm really...

Hey there Reader... I'm sitting in my office, trying to hold onto a feeling for just a little bit longer. I just completed the final coaching call with a long-time client. I've known her for decades. She joined my email list back when I was working exclusively with direct sellers. She was one of the first people to step into my Incubator when it launched back in the day. She "graduated" into a regular consulting client a few years ago. She and I have watched each other pivot, shift, and...
