The one move that matters for you, right now

Tomorrow's the day Reader!

A couple of weeks ago, I told you I was heading to Chicago to do some work repositioning my brand. What I've been pretty tight-lipped about is what I'm shifting TO.

Well, here's your first glimpse.

Last month, I filed the trademark application for One Move That Matters™ - the approach I've been subconsciously using for decades to help clients get clarity on what's most important, make confident decisions, and take the courageous action that will move their business and their life forward.

The name came in a flash last year - after I noticed that someone had filed a trademark that was WAY TOO SIMILAR to "Star Power" - the brand I've been leaning into for a few years now.

It meant I needed to re-think everything.

To be clear, this person doesn't know me, didn't steal my IP, or anything like that. It was just a coincidence that they chose a name that was close to mine. Close enough that my attorney advised me to re-brand instead of trying to justify it with the USPTO.

So I put a lot of resources into choosing the new direction. Chicago was just ONE piece of a much bigger puzzle. We're re-modeling the entire business to support me in this new direction. We have a LOT of decisions to make around platforms, content, what to do with the show, and so much more.

And again, I'm being called to use my own work to support me.

Welcome to finding the One Move That Matters™ for me right now!

There are ALWAYS lots of decisions to be made... especially as a business owner. IT's almost impossible to make all those decisions at once.

Decision fatigue is real. Emotional and energetic depletion is real.

And so is the cost of indecision and uncertainty.

And I see this mistake all the time:

Smart, capable entrepreneurs spreading themselves thin trying to be everywhere at once.

Instagram. LinkedIn. Threads. TikTok. Pinterest. YouTube.
Launch this. Evergreen that. Funnel here. Mastermind there.

And then they wonder why they’re exhausted.

Here’s the truth:

You don’t need 75,000 steps.
You need the One Move That Matters™ right now.

My session tomorrow for The Online Income Playbook Summit, is the first event where I'm sharing more about this method. I'll also talk about:

✔️ Why clarity comes before confidence
✔️ Why confidence comes before courage
✔️ How to identify the single most impactful next step
✔️ Why FOMO kills more businesses than failure

We also dive into how to build an offer stack that supports your real capacity — not someone else’s highlight reel.

If you want a business that fits your energy and doesn’t require you to “sell your soul” to succeed, I’d love for you to join us. The event starts TOMORROW - and I'm presenting on day one!

Heya Reader... Since I got home from my Chicago retreat, one thing became incredibly clear: Creative Freedom has run its course. I mean, I kind of already knew it before I went, but talking about the future of my work (and my life, to be frank), really solidified the decision for me. A decision I'd been circling for years, if I'm honest. For 10 years, across 8 seasons, the Creative Freedom Show was built to inspire and prepare creatives across the spectrum to have a business that works for...

Well, hello there Reader! Last week, I told you I was heading to Chicago to do some work repositioning my brand. I'm not ready yet to go into the specifics of what the repositioning looks like, but more is coming soon. If you're in the Rising Tide community you're ahead of the curve, and if you've been a backer for the reality show, you'll be seeing a BUNCH of behind-the-scenes footage from my trip in the coming weeks! Today, though, before I hop on a plane for the Windy City I wanted to give...

Where did February go Reader? I swear I sat down just a day or two ago to start writing, and here it is, less than a week from the end of the month. Funny how that happens. This month has been packed full of foundation-building and groundwork-laying. As I mentioned in my annual review, I've got some big moves I want to make, and that means preparing the way. Next week, I'm headed to Chicago to work with the uh-MAZE-ing Rachael Kay Albers (aka RKA) on some strategic planning and brand...
